Momence FAQs

We are excited to be moving to a new booking platform called Momence. We know that changes can be daunting, but the transition should be simple. Here are some FAQ’s to help ensure a smooth transition to our new system. Please take some time to read all the way through:

 

When is this change happening? 
Now! Please use Momence for all future class registrations and membership/class pack purchases.

 

What does this mean for me? 
Your account, including your membership status, booking history, and future bookings as well as billing data, have all been transferred to Momence. Your membership (if you have one) will continue to auto-renew. If you received an email saying your membership has been canceled, ignore it! That was sent from the OLD system as we transferred your membership over to the new system.

 

How do I access my new account within Momence?
We’ve created an account and transferred your existing memberships and bookings into Momence. All you need to do is create a password to continue booking.

How do I get started with registering for classes and purchasing new class packs or memberships?
Classes can be booked via our website or through the Momence App. Please watch this short video if you need help getting started.

 

I heard Momence has a really great app. How do I use the Momence App to book classes and view my account data?

Do I need to update my billing and credit card information?
If you wish to continue using your credit card to pay for your membership, then no! Momence utilizes Stripe to process all credit card payments, however, Stripe does charge processing fees (3.9% + $0.30). Fortunately, Momence offers an option for our members to avoid these fees, but it requires a transition on your part. It’s a quick one, but we can’t do it for you.

 

ACH (Automated Clearing House) is a direct debit payment method. Merchants use it to withdraw the cost of the good/service from the customer’s bank directly, while still utilizing the same security measures to protect your personal information. Stripe will still process ACH payments, but the fee to do it is *much* lower and The Yoga Space is happy to absorb that cost. So, adding your ACH information will ensure your monthly membership payment remains unchanged, and not include any additional credit card processing fees. Please know that your information will remain as secure as before – Stripe uses the same security measures for both ACH and credit card storage.

 

So, here’s what you do in three easy steps:

  1. After resetting your password, log into your Momence account. Click your name on the top right, and then click My Account.
  2. Now you are on the page that has your credit card info. Click on Save ACH Direct Debit and then click Save. A window pops up with info about how Momence uses Stripe to process payments; click Agree.
  3. Another window pops up. Select your bank. If you don’t see yours, type the name of your bank in the search bar. Put in your bank credentials – the sign-in you use to bank online and press Continue. You might be asked to answer some security questions you originally set up with your online banking. After that, click Link, which then links your bank account with Momence. That’s it! All done.
